Without the Word, life is meaningless because the Word is Christ. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was God, the Word became flesh and through Him all things were made (John 1). Studying and understanding the word of God is important in developing your relationship with God. You discover more of who you are in Christ and walk in the likeness of Christ. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105 NKJV. His words brightens every dark path in our lives and gives us wisdom, knowledge and direction to every circumstances.
For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart Hebrews 4:12 amp.
This is a reflection of His Word in my life. Pray that you will be inspired, encouraged and your spirits stirred up to know Him more and develop an intimate relationship with Christ.
Reflection of Your Word
Your Word is life that revives my dry bones
Your Word is spirit that quickens my spirit
You Word is the bread of life that satisfies my soul
You are the Word that became flesh
Jesus is the Word
You were there from the beginning of creations
You are the living water that fills my cup up
You refresh my soul
Your words are inscribed in my heart
It searches every thoughts deep in my heart
Shaping me to bear more fruit
Your word is the lamp that shows me the path to take
You lead me in the path of righteousness
As You show me I walk in it
With Your rays of light I can see clearly
I shall fear no evil for Your namesake
