On a journey

By Ngozi Ngadi

It has been quite a while since my last post, I have been so busy with other commitments and was a bit under the weather.  I thought I should keep you all up to date with my journey so far.

What a journey!!!! The Lord surely leads me along the right path.   The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23 NKJV. I am at a place of taking time out to rest, seek Him more intimately to know more of His will, plans and how to strategise in fulfilling His will, purpose and plans over my life.

This is a new season for me, I must confess everything I have been doing seems new to me (in my eyes but not in His eyes).  I am in a place to know more of who He is and who I am in Christ Jesus.  My heart clings to His heart, my spirit united with His, united as one.   Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all your waves and billows have gone over me Psalm 42:7 NKJV.  Being at place of readiness to do it all, no more running away or playing hide and seek because He has found me so I am pursuing Him wholeheartedly.

Just to share a bit of my plans this year, presently I am writing a book which will be revealed at a later date.  It has been quite challenging for me because I have postponed it for a very long time but now is the time to do it.  This means dedication, commitment and perseverance.  So as I journey along this long road, I shall keep you all updated on the progress.

Last month i took some time to pause and think, reflecting on past years, being grateful to the Lord for all He has done for me and through me.  Using my life experiences to reach out to others for His glory.   Looking back in the past years, God has truly been so good to me, He has brought good friends across my path, He has shown me what real unconditional love is and in the midst of all the challenges He was with me, He never left me nor forsook me.  He has given me the boldness and confidence to come out, step out to do His will and purpose, even when I thought I must be perfect to be accepted, He thought me how to flow in the rhythm of His grace.  I walked with Him every step of the way, firstly I crawled then took baby steps, now it must be adult steps that I am taking.  He showed me the way, I walked with boldness, confidence because perfect love casts out all fears (1 John 4:18)

The journey ahead is full of promises, hope, blessings and complete joy in Him.  I am determined to keep moving  forward not looking backwards but keep pressing on, persevering to reach the end.    I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us Philippians 3:12-14 NLT.  Taking hold of every fears (fear of the unknown, fears of standing out, fears of heights and so on) and rolling it to the feet of Jesus in surrender.  As long I am with the Lord whom shall I fear, for the Lord has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7).  I strongly believe that there is so much has in store for me and you. When you are obedient, faithful and responsible with the little He has given to you then He gives so much more to you because He knows He can trust you.  To whom  much is given much more is expected (Luke 12:48).  My desire is to fulfill His will on earth as it is in heaven that His glory will fill the earth and the whole world would know that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I would encourage you all to take time out in His presence, reflect on where you are (present), where you were (past) and where you are going (future).  It is very essential in our walk with Him to execute an audit or assessment of ourselves  and relationship with Him.  Praying to God that His will, be fully perfected in our lives, He shall direct our footsteps and strengthen us in all that we do.  In Jesus Name Amen.
