In His presence is fullness of joy, peace and soundness of mind.   You find rest and restoration in  His presence.  We speak so much about entering into His presence but a lot of us have not experienced Him in a new dimension or found that place of rest, settlement and dwelling place yet.  There is so much satisfaction and abundance of all that He has in store for you in His presence.  So how do you enter into His presence?

Before we come into His presence, if you hold any grudges against anyone, go and seek forgiveness from the person before you enter into His presence.  When someone offends you, hold no grudges, bitterness or anger against the person but understand they they have their flaws.  Forgive them so that you are not hindered from gaining divine access into His presence.  “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you Matthew 6:14.   Nail every sinful nature on the cross as you surrender completely to God, permitting Christ to take absolute control (Galatians 5: 19-24, Colossians 2:13-15).

HOW TO ENTER IN HIS PRESENCE

Praise and Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving and praise is one of the keys to unlocking the doorway to the heavenly realm that permits you grand entrance as His Prince, Princess, Royal Priesthood and Son or Daughter who has an inheritance in His Kingdom.  Let your mouth be filled with thanksgiving and praise as the Lord derives so much joy in your rejoicing for who He is, all He has done yesterday, today and forever more. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name Psalm 100:1,2,4 .

Worship

Worship is an act of submission and surrendering your all to the Lord God.  Worship is an act of sacrifice that ushers us into His presence.   Let us go into His tabernacle; let us worship at His footstool Psalm 132:7.  When you come before His presence you stand in awe of Him, in humble adoration, forgetting all your problems and secret petitions, you know with a firm assurance that Heavenly Father has heard your cry.

Blood of Jesus

Jesus  came down on earth in human form on our behalf to sacrifice His life for us.  Through the power of His resurrection  on the cross where Jesus was pierced and bruised for our transgression and iniquities has granted us divine direct access to His throne (Isaiah 53:3-10, Colossians 1:19-20, 1 John 1:7).    The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness.  It is through the blood that you enter into the holy of holies.  Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption Hebrews 9:12.

Spirit

The Holy Spirit, our standby, counselor, strengthener, helper and comforter connects with your spirit in unity guiding you into His presence.   For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father Ephesians 2:18.  There is no condemnation for those who in Christ Jesus, His spirit is life that guarantees you unlimited divine access into His presence (2 Corinthians 2:10-12).     It is the spirit that reveals the heart of  the Father, His plans and purpose over your lives to you.

Word

The Word is Jesus that brings life to every dead situation (John 1:1-4).   His Word is alive, powerful and a double  sword that pierces the spirit and soul, discerns right and wrong and the intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).  As you meditate on the Word, Christ in you the hope of glory is reignited and refined like fire burning in your heart that draws you more intimately with the Lord (  Psalm 39:3, Colossians 1:27, Joshua 1:6-10).

There is much to write about but the Lord searches and knows the heart.  As you enter into His presence, position yourselves in the right place of righteousness with the right heart and you shall reap love, peace, joy and overflowing blessings

What His Word means to me is all about appreciating God for being there for me despite all that is happening .  When you spend time in His presence studying the Word of God, you become refreshed, revived and renewed to keep pressing on forward despite all the challenges you face in life.    What does the His word mean to you?  I took time out to reflect on what His Word means to me.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Hebrews 4:12

What His Word means to me

Your Word keeps me

 I will delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word Psalm 119:16.

When everything else fails

When all around me is sinking sand

Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope Psalm 119:49.

Your  Word is my only hope

Your Word upholds me, You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word Psalm 119:114.

Your Word is my very essence of living

For Your word has given me life Psalm 119:50b.

Hold me up, and I shall be safe,

and I shall observe Your statutes continually Psalm 119:117.

The words you speak is life and death, used to build and destroy, unite and divide, encourage and discourage. The Lord has called us as Sons and Daughters who have inheritances in His Kingdom to establish His will on earth as it is in heaven that His will in His fullness be established.  Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 NKJV

Just as the rain and snow falls down to the ground so would His word accomplish its’ works, purpose and plans on earth as it is in Heaven (Isaiah 55:10-11).  This is a declaration that as you speak His word and command things that be not as though they were, as you enforce your authority as Kings and Queens in the nations causing light to shine in the midst of darkness, it shall be established according His will, purpose and plans.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it Isaiah 55:10-11 NKJV

Three key things that must happen when His words are decreed:

  1. Not return to Him void:  He is pure, holy and a God of righteousness and justice.  He guards His words ensuring that they are fulfilled.  When you speak His words, its like a double edged sword that proceeds with full force of action and accomplishment.  His word remains the same and never changes (Hebrews 4:12, Hebrews 13:8, Psalm 18:30
  2. His will and heart’s desire is accomplished:  His heart’s desire will surely, with confident assurance of believe and faith in Him through the power of His spirit shall be fulfilled, perfected and completed.  The Lord cherishes His words when spoken by faith and the fullness of His grace (Psalm 105:8).
  3. His word must produce fruit:  His word would produce fruit that would remain and last.  Fruit that would multiply and give bread to the eater and seed to the sower.  His word shall cause an expansion and exponential increase that is beyond our understanding (Genesis 1:28, John 15:16).

He is a covenant keeping God and His love, faithfulness and promises endures forever.  It is time to remind God of His words and acknowledge Him as God the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and the creator of the universe.   Lets enforce His will on earth, in our lives as it is in Heaven.

When I was a little child, I looked up to my daddy (earthly father) for everything.  When he spoke I believed every word  he said and took him by his words because I knew he would always fulfil all that he had promised me.  He was there when I needed a shoulder to lean on, in my openness I would run to him and pour out my heart to my daddy.  He would lift me up and carry me on his shoulders.  At that point nothing else mattered to me because I was in my daddy’s arms.  His words meant a lot to me, his encouragements, corrections and guidance.

There were times when my daddy made promises but could not fulfil those promises due to circumstances beyond his means. My focus  was not on the circumstance but the broken promises as a little girl growing up. However my Father in heaven stands by every word that proceeds from Him for His words shall not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).  He watches over his words until it accomplishes its works just as the rain falls down and waters the earth. He is God, He is my Daddy (Heavenly Father) and when He speaks it will happen in His own way and timing.  He does not lie, He does not cheat for He is a God of justice, righteousness and mercy.  “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.  Has He said, and will He not do?  Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 NKJV.  He is the creator of the universe, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.  For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast Psalm 33:9 NKJV.

His words are soothing to heal the broken hearted, encourages you to keep standing in the midst of it all.  His shoulders are there for you to cry on.  Every drop of tears that falls from your beautiful face, He holds in a bottle.   You keep track of all my sorrows.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have recorded each one in your book Psalm 56:8 NLT.  So trust Him at His words and lean not on your own understanding.  He has spoken, He has commanded, He has promised and it came to pass.  His words are spirit and truth.
