Tag: God’s Purpose

Recently I made a new discovery of myself and my passion.  I was amazed because never did I see myself that way until then.  It was a fresh revelation that illuminated my path as I keep walking into my God ordained destiny.  When you discover something new it opens shut doors and activates speedy acceleration.

I discovered more of who I am in Christ and my passionate desire to add more value to people lives.  Not only that I learnt to believe in me, be confident in myself and comfortable in who I am and what I am.

It all started with chasing after God my CREATOR, MASTER PLANNER, POTTER passionately withholding nothing of myself. Letting go of all of me and receiving all of Him. I discovered God in Spirit and truth, then experienced His love that surpasses all understanding and casts out all fears.  In Him I found me.

for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’  Acts 17:28

When you discover more of yourself in Christ, He reveals a hidden part  that illuminates your whole sphere and transforms you to a renewed image and likeness of Christ (Genesis 1:27).  Our relationship is a transformational process that requires our total submission and surrender to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is time to go back to God our Master Planner and Porter who created you and permit Him, conform to His image to become a new man in Christ.  Live in Him for Him to rule and reign in you.

When I spend time in His presence, meditating on His Word, reflecting on His love this draws me deeper into His presence and He reveals His heart to me, the heart of the Father.  You have the heart of the Father when you present yourself as a holy and acceptable living sacrifice before God.  He prunes you, refines you and purifies your heart that you may know His prefect will for your life.

I have learnt to embrace the uniqueness and peculiarity of how I am created in His image.  I am who I am in Christ.  I know my identity and what I am assigned to do here on earth.  Now I am walking boldly in confidence of who I am  fulfilling purpose because I know my destiny.  So there is no giving up, no holding back, I shall keep persevering in patience and endurance with sincere dedication and commitment to the VISION

God has great plans and purposes over your lives.  His plans are to give you life and an expected end.  His ways are beyond your imaginations.  The question is how do you understand what you are destined to do or fulfil here on earth?  Why are you here on earth for? If you do not understand God’s purpose for your life, you are living a futile life here on earth.

He desires to reveal to His purpose as you spend time in the secret place.

He desires to reveal to His purpose as you spend time in the secret place.  Revealing His Purpose Event is a segment from The Secret Place  that the Lord instructed me to host.  It started last year based on Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  It has been an awesome journey so far discovering the mysteries of The Secret Place of our Heavenly Father.

The theme this season is Revealing His Purpose in The Secret Place. Revealing His Purpose Event is a time of seeking Him in The Secret Place so He can reveal and birth His purpose seeded in you.  Until He reveals His purpose we cannot run with it.  A vision without a purpose is a dead vision.

My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Psalm 139:15

I would encourage you to come and experience Him in The Secret Place as He reveals His purpose in you on Saturday 28th March, Crown Plaza Hotel Hanger Lane, London UK  Come with an expectant heart  and you will never leave the same.  His manifesting presence will dwell in and around you for His name to be glorified.

Fear has become a high mountain that needs to be smashed and levelled to the ground so you can walk into your destiny.   When you look deep inside, you realise that fear is an avenue or force used to block your breakthrough, success or prosperity.  Fear is a spirit force that the enemy uses to weigh you down, steal and kill your joy, peace, protection and the fullness of God’s blessings (John 10:10).

Fear could be linked to negative intimidating words spoken to you especially by your loved ones.  The past challenges or experiences of failures could influence yours thoughts of being afraid to keep persevering, keep pressing forward towards your set goals of life.  It is one of the strategies the enemy uses to distract, confuse, restrain you from fulfilling His purpose in your life.

Peoples purposes have been put on hold and hindered due to the fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of heights and the list goes on..  The true meaning of FEAR is False Evidence Against Reality.  Fear is false and has no real evidence of reality.   So how do you overcome your fears? I have written down some key steps to overcoming your fears.

It is very important to establish the source of your fears.  One of the key ways of discovering the source is to investigate when you started developing the specific fear.  Some fears are inherited from our parents, for example your mother or father could be afraid of heights and you have watched her experience the fear of climbing up the stairs from childhood.  You could possible pick up the same fear because you felt it was the norm.  With prayer and help of the Holy Spirit, our helper, counsellor, discerner and standby, He would open eyes to discover the real source of your fears.

Once you have discovered your fears.  Gather as much information on the subject.   Having a deep understanding of the specific issue aids immensely to move forward.  My people perish because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). The Lord has given you authority to bind and loose and whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18-19).

It is time to rebuke your fears, name them one by one by speaking  to it and casting them out.  Then start by releasing words of faith, strength and encouragement, filling yourself up with the abundance of His goodness, mercies and grace.  Understand more on the perfection of Christ love for you, for perfect love cast out all fears (1 John 4:18).

The spirit of fear is not in your DNA, therefore you should have no traits of fear of in you.  Understanding who you are in Christ and knowing without a doubt that you are a perfect image of Christ, gives you the enablement and empowerment to be free from all kinds of fears.

Once you have identified and dealt with your fears then faith without action is dead faith (James 2:17).  Be bold, strong and courageous in stepping out of your fears into the triumphant victory of as a Son or Daughter who has an inheritance in the kingdom of God.  It is better to do it afraid in boldness and strength with help from the Holy Spirit. These key steps to overcoming your fears have been tried and tested.  With God all things are possible.

I can assure you that fear has no root in our system so why be afraid and let the enemy take away your joy and peace of mind.  Why don’t you take a stand by faith walking into your destiny in the fullness of the spirit and you will be amazed at His power at work in you.

Renew your mind

By Ngozi Ngadi

When trials comes your way and you don’t know what to do, your mind becomes so busy trying to figure a solution to the problem.  The mind works overtime burning more calories that you can ever imagine.  Although I might not be in the medical profession, I assume that when you mind is pressured with so many thoughts, you burn more calories.  When this happens depression steps in gradually and your physical well being becomes affected.  The mind is the battlefield to unlock your breakthrough to victory and prosperity.  Renew your mind to the ways and things of God. Change the negative thoughts of frustration, confusion and disbelief to meditating on the word, God’s ways and thoughts.   Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God,even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you] Romans 12:2 amp.  His plans and  purpose in your lives is full of promises and abundance of His love.

So how do you renew your mind to be in  alignment with His word, will and purpose.  I have faced challenges and been in situations that tried to mess up my mind and make me think that I am worthless, unloved and a loser.  At some point it tried to suppress me till I could not stand anymore.  But thank God I am a living testimony that I am walking with the Lord as He directs my path and my mind is completely renewed to His ways, will and purpose.  The devil might try some stupid tactics but I am more than a step ahead of him because I humbly submitted myself to God.  Here are seven key ways to renewing  your mind and this has helped me tremendously:

  1. MEDITATE ON THE WORD:  Study the bible and meditate on the word until it becomes a part of you.  Let His words be solidly rooted in your heart (Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12, Joshua 1:8)
  2. CAST DOWN EVERY THOUGHTS THAT EXALTS ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD: Taking authority over every word that is not in alignment with His words and promises over your life, rendering them powerless in obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
  3. CONFESS HIS WORDS DAILY:  Confess with your mouth what His words says over every situation.  Decree and declare what be not as though they were.  Speaking to yourself encourages your spirit especially during challenging times (Proverbs 18:21, Romans 4:17, Romans 10:9-10, Jeremiah 1:9-10).
  4. ASSOCIATE WITH LIKE MINDED CHRISTIANS:  Surround yourself around people who would always be there to encourage you, share the word and fellowship with you.  Find at least two prayer partners that you can pray with and stand in agreement with you (Matthew 18:20, 1 John 1:6-7).
  5. PRAY:  Be in constant communion with the Lord, seek His heart in all that you do.  Seek Him daily, open your heart to Him and permit Him to deal with every issue that seems to be a stumbling block or stronghold.  Be willing to receive and hear from Him
  6. PRAISE AND WORSHIP HIM: The key to your breakthrough is in your praises and worship that proceeds from your mouth.  Praise Him with your whole heart, spirit, body and soul.  Reverence God in submission and obedience. (Psalm 100:4, Psalm 149, Genesis 22:1-13)
  7. STAND IN TRIUMPHANT VICTORY: When you have done it all STAND and do not give up on God.  Stand in triumphant victory for Christ has paid it all on the cross.  Therefore there is no cause for you to suffer anymore. A divine exchange took place when He was crucified on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:56-58, Galatians 3:13-14).  KEEP STANDING and DO NOT GIVE ON GOD.
Renewing your mind is a process of change so it does not happen in a day.  You might feel so down now and you do not where to start.  I would say to you,  start by seeking His face and pray for strength.  Make a fresh start, take it one day at a time with Jesus.  Spend time in His presence, studying the word because in His presence there is fullness of joy, peace and a sound mind.  Let your life be a living testimony that the world will know that His goodness and mercies endures forever.

Step up

By Ngozi Ngadi

God’s desire for you is that His purpose be fulfilled in your lives. He has given you dominion over the earth to be fruitful and multiply.  He has given you authority to rule over nations, to possess the land for Christ that His glory will fill the earth.  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 NKJV

It is time to step up in the assignments He has called you to complete. Many are called but few are chosen, He has chosen you specifically for His works not because of your perfection or righteousness. You must not be perfect to be accepted , God wants you to come just as you are then He will work your lives out as you walk with Him every step of way.

It is time to step up, it is time to increase the tempo and there is no time to waste.  We are limited to time because we work under a 365days calender a year (chronos).  But the Lord is not restricted to time because He has time in His hands.  For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours Psalm 90:4 NLT.  It time to understand the season you are in and flow in it because it is only for an opportune moment.  Which season are you in? Are you in a season of sowing or reaping, season of planting or growth? Ecclesiastes 3 states there’s an opportune time for everything under the earth and  He has made everything beautiful in its time.

The Lord is doing a new thing in your life, embrace the new (Isaiah 43:18-19).   The old is past and the new is here, embrace the new.  It is time to get rid of the old and move up the ladder.  Step up the ladder, forgetting what lies behind and keep  pressing forward to what lies ahead.

The Lord uses the foolish things of this world and makes them wise, all you need to do is make yourself available for the Lord to use you  (1 Corinthians 1:27).  Sometimes the Lord stretches us so much that we feel like breaking but He knows how much we can bear. He knows our limit and  would not allow us to be tempted beyond our limit.  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it  1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV.

Stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing the new was a great challenge for me because I could not comprehend how He could use a broken, rejected and crushed lady like me.  When I said YES, I am available, use me Lord then He turned my life completely around for the best.  Every step I take up the ladder, my fears of the unknown tries to creep in but I fix my eyes on the Lord and surround myself with friends that lift me up instead of putting me down.  In my weaknesses I keep pressing on,  when I am down I go the Rock of my salvation who is able to carry me through.  It’s not easy I must say but one thing I know is He will never leave nor forsake me.
