What is God saying to you about your life, journey and the future.  Have you asked Him?  What is God saying to you about your children and marriage?  He is God, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End and the Author and Finisher of your faith.

This is a season of speedy acceleration and breaking out of the old into the new.  This season the old and the new cannot blend, the familiar and unfamiliar has to be separated.  The Lord God is taking you on a new path of revealing what He desires to accomplish in your life.

I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way.  Isaiah 42:16

He says ” I have chosen you as My beloved to fulfill my purpose here on earth, over the nations it is time to rise up from your slumber, awake oh Daughter of Zion, come and meet Me in the secret place.  Let Me reveal My heart to you, let Me reveal My will to you.  I have been waiting for this moment to sit with you and dine with you, come My beloved because I first loved you.”

God’s plans for you are beyond your expectations and imaginations, His desire is for you to see all that He has in store for you.  His promises over your life are yes and amen, it is sealed.  The Lord God is revealing new strategies, new ways to accomplish the best results by His divine enablement invested in you for Christ rules in you the hope of glory.

Get ready because it is happening now not tomorrow but now.

Recently I made a new discovery of myself and my passion.  I was amazed because never did I see myself that way until then.  It was a fresh revelation that illuminated my path as I keep walking into my God ordained destiny.  When you discover something new it opens shut doors and activates speedy acceleration.

I discovered more of who I am in Christ and my passionate desire to add more value to people lives.  Not only that I learnt to believe in me, be confident in myself and comfortable in who I am and what I am.

It all started with chasing after God my CREATOR, MASTER PLANNER, POTTER passionately withholding nothing of myself. Letting go of all of me and receiving all of Him. I discovered God in Spirit and truth, then experienced His love that surpasses all understanding and casts out all fears.  In Him I found me.

for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’  Acts 17:28

When you discover more of yourself in Christ, He reveals a hidden part  that illuminates your whole sphere and transforms you to a renewed image and likeness of Christ (Genesis 1:27).  Our relationship is a transformational process that requires our total submission and surrender to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is time to go back to God our Master Planner and Porter who created you and permit Him, conform to His image to become a new man in Christ.  Live in Him for Him to rule and reign in you.

When I spend time in His presence, meditating on His Word, reflecting on His love this draws me deeper into His presence and He reveals His heart to me, the heart of the Father.  You have the heart of the Father when you present yourself as a holy and acceptable living sacrifice before God.  He prunes you, refines you and purifies your heart that you may know His prefect will for your life.

I have learnt to embrace the uniqueness and peculiarity of how I am created in His image.  I am who I am in Christ.  I know my identity and what I am assigned to do here on earth.  Now I am walking boldly in confidence of who I am  fulfilling purpose because I know my destiny.  So there is no giving up, no holding back, I shall keep persevering in patience and endurance with sincere dedication and commitment to the VISION

Thank you

It is so easy to let life pass by and forget every good reason to be grateful to God.  We can get so easily distracted by the challenges, circumstances and the main essence of living.  We can get entangled with the ups and downs,  distresses of life that appreciating God becomes a mere thing to us.  So I took time out to reflect on the seven reasons to be grateful to God.

#1 LIFE

I would like to appreciate God for being alive  as a living being not as a living doing or dead being.  Being who I am in Him not in my efforts but resting in Him in spirit and truth, permitting Him to take full control.   It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life John 6:63.

#2 NATURE

Have you ever walk along the road, in the fields or park with the aim of appreciating His beautiful nature created by Him and most importantly the air we breath.   I am really grateful to God for He is the air I breathe, His presence brings life to  me.  When the wind blows His spirit moves.   He has given us dominion and authority over the fish of the sea, birds of the air, the animals, over every creeping thing on earth and all the earth (Genesis 1:26).  It is a privilege to have full access to the earthly nature and enjoy life in abundance.

#3 FRIENDS, FAMILIES, LOVED ONES AND DESTINY HELPERS

Thank you Lord for bringing alongside my Husband, friends and families to love, support and encourage me.  Life without my loved ones is an aimless worthless one.  I appreciate you all for the Lord using you as an instrument to impact my life especially my loving Husband.  Moreover the people whom I call destiny helpers the Lord has connected me with that helped, guided and mentored me in fulfilling God’s purpose in my life, I would like to say a big thank you.  God has divinely orchestrated it all to fall into alignment with His plans and purposes

#4 HE IS MY PROVIDER

I cant take for granted the fact that He has been my provider from the beginning and will be to the end. My daily needs are catered for (Matthew 6:11).  Knowing that He has a storehouse of secret treasures waiting for me to walk into and possess with boldness and courage of who I am in Him.  It has already been made available so I thank You Heavenly Father for giving me divine access to all that I require and desire according to Your will.

#5 HE IS MY HIDING PLACE

When challenges or problems try to overwhelm me, I find refuge in Him.  Perfect peace, perfect rest is found in Him.  He is my hiding place, my place of refuge, place of rest and restoration in Him.  I have learnt to trust in Him even when my mind cant comprehend but my heart trusts in Him.  Thank You for being my hiding place during the storms of life.

#6 BECAUSE HE IS GOD

I cant complain because You are God, You are the first and the Last.  Everything works out for good because You love me and I am called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).  You called me Your beloved daughter in whom You are well pleased with.  I have a PHL degree (PRECIOUS HONORED LOVED) in You (Isaiah 43:4).  Therefore I am not afraid of who I am in You, THANK YOU JESUS

#7  I STILL STANDING

This year has been challenging for me with problems and circumstances being thrown at me everywhere nevertheless I am still standing.  You never gave up on me and You will never leave me nor forsake me.  These problems have tried to weigh me down but His yoke is easy and His burdens are light.  What a wonderful God He is, what a loving Father He is, I AM THANKFUL TO GOD

There is so much more to write about but these seven reasons to be grateful to God are a starting point,  They are endless, I can never stop thanking God for who He is,  all He has done and will do.  I keep my eyes fixed on Him not on my surroundings, my eyes are permanently set above not below, I look up to the sky and trust Him to see me through it all.

The words you speak is life and death, used to build and destroy, unite and divide, encourage and discourage. The Lord has called us as Sons and Daughters who have inheritances in His Kingdom to establish His will on earth as it is in heaven that His will in His fullness be established.  Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 NKJV

Just as the rain and snow falls down to the ground so would His word accomplish its’ works, purpose and plans on earth as it is in Heaven (Isaiah 55:10-11).  This is a declaration that as you speak His word and command things that be not as though they were, as you enforce your authority as Kings and Queens in the nations causing light to shine in the midst of darkness, it shall be established according His will, purpose and plans.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it Isaiah 55:10-11 NKJV

Three key things that must happen when His words are decreed:

  1. Not return to Him void:  He is pure, holy and a God of righteousness and justice.  He guards His words ensuring that they are fulfilled.  When you speak His words, its like a double edged sword that proceeds with full force of action and accomplishment.  His word remains the same and never changes (Hebrews 4:12, Hebrews 13:8, Psalm 18:30
  2. His will and heart’s desire is accomplished:  His heart’s desire will surely, with confident assurance of believe and faith in Him through the power of His spirit shall be fulfilled, perfected and completed.  The Lord cherishes His words when spoken by faith and the fullness of His grace (Psalm 105:8).
  3. His word must produce fruit:  His word would produce fruit that would remain and last.  Fruit that would multiply and give bread to the eater and seed to the sower.  His word shall cause an expansion and exponential increase that is beyond our understanding (Genesis 1:28, John 15:16).

He is a covenant keeping God and His love, faithfulness and promises endures forever.  It is time to remind God of His words and acknowledge Him as God the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and the creator of the universe.   Lets enforce His will on earth, in our lives as it is in Heaven.

A few months ago I wrote about entering into a place of rest and why it is so important to find rest in Him.  Also I  gave a brief description of  spiritual rest .  Today I will  be expanding further, digging in deeper on how to enter into a place of rest.  It is the Lord’s utmost desire that we find rest, peace and soundness of mind in Him.

Living a life of remaining in His rest in the midst of the ups and downs of life or challenges we experience is  all about taking our intimacy with the Lord to a deeper and higher  level.  It starts with the hunger and thirst of seeking Him more than ever, being fed with the bread of life and drinking from  the fountain of His living water.  I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me Proverbs 8:17 NKJV.   He longs for us to seek His face every minute and second of the day.

So how do you enter into a place of rest?  it starts by our Permitting  Him to come into our heart and take complete perfect control.  There needs to be a desire to submit and surrender our spirit, body and soul.  The Lord has given us the freedom of choice to accept Him or disconnect from God.  However because He is God, our creator He has the authority to gain access into our hearts without our consent in some exceptional cases in the Bible like Jonah and Saul who had divine encounters with the Lord so that His name be glorified.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name Psalm 100:4 NKJV

Come into His presence with a thankful heart, praising Him for all He has done, is doing and about to do. It does not matter how painful, difficult, depressing, bitter and crushed you are.  Think about His love, mercies, faithfulness, mercies and grace.

Below are five ways to enter into His place of rest based on my experience.

  1. Be Still:  Requires that you clear your mind off every worries, stress, complaining over issues you have not control over.  Be Still and acknowledge God as the author and finisher of your faith. Psalm 46:10, 1 Kings 19:11-12
  2. Obedient to His Words: The Joshua Generation entered His rest because they were obedient to His instructions, promisess and His words did not depart from them.  They meditated on it day and night.  They followed His path and did not deviate to the left or right.  Joshua 1:7-9, Joshua 21:43-45
  3. Remain in Him: Remain in the Him no matter the cost.  Let nothing whatsoever  separate you from the love of God so that your joy will overflow.  This means you keeping your eyes fixed on Him and He will keep your in perfect peace. John 15:11, Isaiah 26:3
  4. His Grace: His grace is enough to see you through the turbulent times.  Walk with Him and He would work it out.  Take His yoke and He will give you complete rest.  Matthew 11:28-30, 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
  5. Faith and believe:  It is difficult to enter His rest if you do not believe that He is able to do more than you could ever ask or imagine.  We have a faithful God who has never failed us.  Therefore ask God through the power of the Holy Spirit to help your unbelief.  With God all things are possible.

May the good Lord strengthen, guide and  bring you to the place of complete rest in Him.  May He keep you there and you remain in His presence.  For in His is fullness of joy and perfect peace.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.
