Last time I published a post on The Power of the Mind and I am progressing from where I stopped onto how the Power of the Mind is used as a weapon of attack.
I thought about what to blog on and I reflected immensely on how the ups and downs of life challenges could hinder us from walking into the fullness of all that He has in store for us. It all starts with our thought process. The enemy has no access whatsoever to what you are thinking about until you speak out then strategies are devised to counteract His purpose driven plans. This is the power of the mind. That is where the battlefield lies.
Satan is very deceptive and manipulative in his ways therefore would try to plant destructive, suicidal, confusing thoughts by making you presume they are your own human thinking. When you act on those processed thoughts that has been planted as a seed by him then you have given the enemy the upper hand.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you. Proverbs 23:7
I have grown to discover and utilise my mindset in Christ as a weapon of attack. As I matured in my spiritual walk with the Lord I understood the tactics of the enemy was based on intelligent data information collection. They work as agents of lies, deception, who come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10, John 8:44, 2 Corinthians 11:14, Revelation 12:9 ). Ungodly, demonic, toxic thoughts could be sown into your mindset depending on the challenges you experience. You have two choices either to feed those thoughts and permit your pains or trials overcome you or cast them out authoritatively in the name of Jesus then feed your mind with the truth which is the Word of God.
What you feed you mind with based on your five spiritual senses (see, hear, smell, tasted and feel ) determines your consequent reaction (Hebrews 5:14). With your eyes you see visualising the hope of tomorrow; with your ears you hear the Word and mature in faith; with your mind you know for you have the mind of Christ and the heart of the Father; with your heart you believe without a doubt for the manifestation of His promises ( Hebrews 11:1, Romans 10:17, 1 Corinthians 2:16, Romans 10:10 )
It is important to think before you speak because once spoken it cannot be retrieved, the spoken word is sent forth to accomplish that which you assigned it to do. Ask the Holy Spirit to set a watch on your mouth and watch the door of your lips (Psalm 141:3).
The power of the mind is a weapon of attack that the enemy tries to penetrate in other to oppress, obsess, depress, suppress and possess you. The battle starts with the mind and ends with the mind in a place of prayer and deeper intimacy with the Lord
Consequently, watch out for part two of the power of the mind, that emphaises more on the steps to overcoming the enemy using the mind as a weapon of attack. This is discovered in the Word of God from 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. I pray that the Lord renews your mind, giving you a new mindset continually on a daily basis to stand firm in every trials and test of life. Amen

In the world that we live in today there is a tendency to worry over how to pay your phone bills, rent, mortgage or the possibility of being evicted and repossession of your property because of the inability to meet up with payments, You could have received a final warning from the bailiffs to pay your bill. You are anxious, fretting over all this issues of life. The questions that crops out of your mind is: how am I going to pay all these bills when I am unemployed? Where do I go to for help? Is this how I would continue living my life from hand to mouth?
My answer to you today is dont worry be joyful. Worrying over issues kills, it is a slow deadly diseases that takes control of your mind, body and immune system slowly becomes weak. The white blood cells in your body are unable to defend or attack nevertheless perform their roles. It causes high blood pressure, heart attack, depression, arthritis and so on. So why worry when the consequences of worrying over the day to day problems is overwhelming
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7
Worry causes you to be anxious, troubled, stressed out and unnecessarily fearful. My question is to you is excessive thinking the solution or added weight on your shoulders? Would worries pay the bills? So why don’t you take it one day at a time with Jesus. The Lord’s prayers says gives us this day our daily bread (Matthew 6:11). Let your focus be on today and let tomorrow be planned out. We are more precious than the birds that does not worry about what to eat or wear but our Heavenly Father feeds them, how much more we His precious Sons and Daughters who has inheritances in His kingdom.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4:6
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things Philippians 4:8.
Dont worry be joyful. When you the Joy of the Lord is your stronghold nothing whatsoever can weigh you down. They can try but they would not succeed because He is the pillar that holds your life. Money and the pleasures of the world can buy you happiness but everlasting joy comes from the Lord God.
MY PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY
Father I thank you for bringing Your Son Jesus Christ on the earth to die for our sins. His crucifixion and resurrection delivers us from the power of darkness into Your marvellous light. I ask Heavenly Father that you release everlasting joy into the hearts of your Sons and Daughters as they persevere through it all. May they find rest, perfect peace and restoration in You the author and finisher of their faith in Jesus name Amen.

Life is full of building patterns and cycles that goes on and on, until it becomes so difficult to change. You become so used to these habitual patterns and in worse cases restrained by them. There are good and bad habits. What bad habits, patterns or cycles have you cultivated that has hindered you from fulfilling God’s purpose driven will over your life?
You might have dreams and visions of aspirations but what have you done to keep the passion alive? Change is inevitable, you move with it, it affects your lifestyle, spiritual and mental perspective. Making life changes is a matter of choice, you can choose to remain where you are, making the same mistakes, going round in cycles and building habitual patterns. Or you could take a step of faith and make changes.
Making changes in your life, business, family, dreams and visions could be challenging but if you keep persevering in persistence, it causes a positive life changing impact. It takes time for changes to take effect and more time for it to be a permanent change.
5 KEY REASONS TO MAKE CHANGES
#1 INCREASED EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY
When you make a positive change, your performance level increases to a new level. Write down your goals and objectives with a mission to fulfil them all. Plan ahead and be determined to excel in all that the Lord has called you to do. When you keep your mind focused on the vision with a mission, you will arrive at your destined destination.
#2 AIM TO FULFIL YOUR DREAMS AND VISION
Write down your vision and run with it. Share the vision with others who would support, impact, influence and encourage you as you progress on the right direction. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry Habakkuk 2:2-3. A vision or dream without a mission is dead.. A vision or dream that does not impact or add value to lives is dead. Heal The Broken Hearted Ministry has a vision to impact lives and in the process of impacting lives nations are transformed
#3 INFLUENCE AND INSPIRE OTHERS
You life on earth is to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth. God has given you dominion, power and authority to set His will on earth as it is in Heaven (Genesis 1:28). We all have a purpose, it is important to discover what your purpose is and run with it. Your purpose displays your uniqueness and peculiarity in Christ image to inspire, encourage and transform lives. It is His desire that we live a purpose driven life within our domain to cause changes in lives starting with those close to and around us. Your gifts and talents makes room for you and brings you before great men (Proverbs 18:16).
#4 AIDS COMMITMENT AND DEDICATION
To be committed you need to be disciplined and passionately dedicated to the new improved changes. There has to be a firm determination from you never to give up even in hard times but persevere through it all. When you practise this process consistently changes begin to happen gradually and eventually. The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway Proverbs 15:19. The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing Proverbs 20:4. There is no room for laziness or sluggishness when it comes to change. Keep your eyes fixed on the goal, vision and end results for the end is always better than the beginning when you walk in alignment with His will (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
#5 OPENS NEW DOORS
Your effective authoritative actions in response to change activates doors of new opportunities that creates new avenues in the areas you desire. Be prepared to walk into the door with boldness and confidence of who you are in Christ and possess all that He has in store for you. It is one thing for a door to be opened and another to walk into it. The opened door accelerates you to a new level of increase, empowerment and enablement to fulfil His will

What changes have you made that has impacted your life? Be encouraged to comment as this could impact someone else life
It is so challenging to keep persevering in a place of prayer especially when you cant physically see the results. You pray morning, day and night, always in constant communion with Heavenly Father with the help of the Holy Spirit and it feels like your Lord God is not answering your petitions. So where have you gone wrong? Is your heart right with God? So how do you keep persevering in a place of prayer.
There is a parable Jesus told His disciples, the parable of the persistent widow to encourage us to keep persevering in a place of prayer (Luke 18:1-8). This story stirs our heart that we ought to pray always and not to loose hope, faith or give up. In summary, the parable illustrates to us about a Judge and widow in a certain city. The Judge had no fear or reverence for God and no respect or care for His people.
This widow persistently persevered in her demand for justice to protect and defend her against her adversary. Her perseverance in pressurising the Judge caused him to change his decision. Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming orat the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me Luke 18:5 amp
How much more our Heavenly Father who loves us dearly would do for us? He ways, plans and thoughts are above yours. You are His chosen ones, God’s elect, He would surely defend, avenge and protect you when you cry out to Him in private. You prayers to Him is not in vain, He hears and answers them all according to His will purpose and plan.
He is always on on time but His timing is different from yours. He has a set appointed time for everything. Everything He does is beautiful and marvellous in His sight. He makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Prayer is the master key to your breakthrough. Why don’t you start your day and end your day in prayer. For there is power in the words that proceeds from your mouth, the power of life and death, to build and destroy, uproot and establish. I decree and declare that as you present your case to Father, as you petition heaven may He answer you speedily at the set appointed time.
It is important to have the right attitude and mindset, renewing your mind to what the Word says over the situation. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. As you approach the throne of grace and mercy have faith in God and believe without a doubt that He is able to do more than you can expect or imagine.
So if you have been praying for so long and it seems like He is not hearing or answering your prayers, I would encourage you to discover more of who He is. He is the King of kings, Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega, the Author and Finisher of your faith. When you have a divine knowledge of who He is and who you are in Christ, you would approach Him as His Son or Daughter who has an inheritance in His kingdom then whatsoever you ask in His name and He will answer and act on your behalf (John 14:13-14)
