Love

Forgive

Father in heaven, we thank You  for Your Son Jesus Christ who was crucified on the cross of Calvary.  We thank You for Your blood that washes away my  sins, purifies my heart and cleanses me from all unrighteousness.  I confess that I am sinner and have  sinned against You,  Father I humble myself before you and surrender my life, all that I am to You.  Forgive me of  all my sins, both the sins of commission and omission.  Teach me how to forgive those that have mocked, persecuted, humiliated and offended me consistently and that have caused me to shut down and placed a stumbling block to my relationship with You.  So that my prayers might be answered as the Word of God says if I have anything against anyone forgive, let go of the issue so that Your Father in Heaven may forgive you.  In Jesus Name Amen.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Mark 11:25-26 NKJV

His Grace

When I woke up this morning, all I could think about was  God’s divine grace over my life.  The unmerited favour that goes before me to make the crooked path smooth.  I believe strongly that He can do so much more beyond your imagination and comprehension in your life (1 Corinthians 2:9).    Therefore what does His grace mean to you?

His grace to me means that even though I do not deserve all that He has given me, I still have it.   I have divine privileged access to His abundant grace that covers me.  For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield Psalm 5:12 NKJV.   Even in my imperfections, brokenness and flaws, I am His righteousness, the righteousness of Christ.  Everything I do is not in my effort but by His might, anointing and Holy Spirit so He carries me through the stormy weather and the turbulent seasons.  When it seems like there is no way He makes a way for me.

The definition of  grace according to Wikipedia  is  “the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not because of anything we have done to earn it”.  Furthermore,  It is understood by Christians to be a spontaneous gift from God to mankind – “generous, free and totally unexpected and undeserved” – that takes the form of divine favour, love and clemency.

In my understanding grace is beyond mercy and love.  Therefore there is a great difference between grace and mercy or kindness.  Another word for grace is favour which is widely used and familiar.  Deb Wolf  emphasized more in detail about  the important difference between grace and kindness.

God’s grace has empowered us to do what ordinarily we could not have done.  It’s a supernatural empowerment that keeps you standing in the midst of  it all.  Paul  pleaded with the Lord three times that the thorn in the flesh given to him would depart from him.  It was not specific what the thorn was however the Lord’s reply  was that His grace is enough and sufficient   to see him through.

And the Lord  said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV.

My declaration to you all is that His grace would empower you to do all things, climb the highest mountains, stand the test of time through Christ who strengthens you.  He has given you the enablement that guarantees your triumphant victory because you are overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony.

So Father we thank You for Your grace that is enough for us through Christ Jesus who has empowered us to stand and rejoice in You that Your name may  be glorified  in the knowledge that trials tribulations produces perseverance, perseverance encourages us to be more Christlike and have hope in You, the author and finisher of our faith.   May Your overflowing spirit of love be poured into our hearts and bring us to a place of complete satisfaction and abundance of your grace.  In Jesus Name Amen

When Christ was crucified He paid a costly price for our sake.  He came down to this earth in human form to bear our pains and sufferings.  God’s love for us is beyond our understanding, His love for us is so deep,  as deep as the ocean, so sweet but sweeter than honey.  Because of His love He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ the Messiah that we might not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).  A divine exchange took place on the cross of Calvary.  On the cross an exchange took place and all records of accusations against us was wiped out completely for good.   He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross Colossians 2:14-15 NLT.  He crushed all principalities and powers right under His feet, rendering them powerless.

An exchange took place at the cross when He was crucified, He bore our pains and sufferings that we might live life in His fullness.  He bore our pains, He was despised and rejected, He was oppressed and afflicted, He was wounded for our transgressions,  bruised for our guilt and iniquities, all these He suffered for our sake (Isaiah 53:3-5)

This is my personal conviction of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour ……..

You took my filth for righteousness
You bore my pains for healing
You were crucified that I might have life eternal
You surrendered Your life for my liberation
You took my shame for honour

You were pierced to immerse me in Your blood
You came in human form to suffer on this sinful earth
You sacrificed Your life for my sake
You first loved me before I knew You

You have given me beauty for ashes
You have given me oil of joy for mourning
You have given me the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

My life has never been the same ever since I knew Him as my Lord and personal  Saviour Jesus Christ.  I experienced a great transformation that impacted my lifestyle, mindset and everything about me for His glory.  Would you like to know Him as your Lord and Saviour?

It is time to take a step of faith and invite Him into your heart.  If so, now is the time to pray a simple prayer of salvation.  I pray that the Lord will strengthen you, guide you as you walk with Him, He will make the crooked path straight and smooth.  In Jesus name, Amen.

When I was a little child, I looked up to my daddy (earthly father) for everything.  When he spoke I believed every word  he said and took him by his words because I knew he would always fulfil all that he had promised me.  He was there when I needed a shoulder to lean on, in my openness I would run to him and pour out my heart to my daddy.  He would lift me up and carry me on his shoulders.  At that point nothing else mattered to me because I was in my daddy’s arms.  His words meant a lot to me, his encouragements, corrections and guidance.

There were times when my daddy made promises but could not fulfil those promises due to circumstances beyond his means. My focus  was not on the circumstance but the broken promises as a little girl growing up. However my Father in heaven stands by every word that proceeds from Him for His words shall not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).  He watches over his words until it accomplishes its works just as the rain falls down and waters the earth. He is God, He is my Daddy (Heavenly Father) and when He speaks it will happen in His own way and timing.  He does not lie, He does not cheat for He is a God of justice, righteousness and mercy.  “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent.  Has He said, and will He not do?  Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 NKJV.  He is the creator of the universe, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.  For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast Psalm 33:9 NKJV.

His words are soothing to heal the broken hearted, encourages you to keep standing in the midst of it all.  His shoulders are there for you to cry on.  Every drop of tears that falls from your beautiful face, He holds in a bottle.   You keep track of all my sorrows.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have recorded each one in your book Psalm 56:8 NLT.  So trust Him at His words and lean not on your own understanding.  He has spoken, He has commanded, He has promised and it came to pass.  His words are spirit and truth.

I love you

By Ngozi Ngadi

I received a postcard from my Daddy, who reminded me of how much He loves me.  His words were repeated several times  ‘ I love you ‘,  ‘ I love you ‘,  ‘ I love you ‘ until it clicked.   And truly it did, that my Father really loves me, He loved yesterday in my sins, hopelessness, brokenhearted and imperfection, He loves me now  and He always will, regardless.

Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life Isaiah 43:4.

I am His special daughter, He has every detail of my life planned because He  is the master planner (Ephesians 1:11).  He has great plans for me, plans of hope and for me to prosper in all that I do.  His ways are higher than my ways, so are His thoughts higher than my thoughts.

He loves me dearly and because He loves me, my spirit, body and my soul clings to Him for safety.  My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me Psalm 63:8 amp.

As you read this love note from Daddy to me, His beloved daughter I hope that you will discover more of Christ love for you.  Moreover that He will bring you to a deeper level of intimacy with Him, knowing Him for who He is,  He is love, God is love (1 John 4:8).  He will walk with you as a Father walks with the child, supporting the child along the long tiring road.
