When you are going through challenges and experiencing crises moments, you might feel like God does not care about the deep pains and hurts that you have internalized in your soul.  Now it has become a part of you, that has made you build a defense wall around you to hinder people from developing relationships with you.  It is time for a change, it is time to keep it real in the presence of God because He care so much about you.  He wants to know how you are doing today, who offended you at work and why you are so angry that you are unwilling to forgive and let go .

Keep it real for God to heal your broken heart. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). When you are wounded or hurt and you let go in complete transparency, He initiates the healing process for He is the Restorer of your soul.  During the healing process He removes every obstruction that the physical eyes cannot see in the wound that slows down the process,  Once its complete He bandages up the wound.

Keeping it real in the presence of God is important for us to develop a deeper level of intimacy with the Lord.  He wants to know what you are going through, where it hurts and the pains that you have numbed in your heart in pretense that everything is okay.  When you are broken, crushed, bitter about life challenges, the ups and downs of life.  Maybe offended by the way you are treated by your close friend, business partner or confidant. Speak to Abba Father, pour it out to Him, open up the wounds of bitterness, unforgiveness, offence, grudges so He can bind the wounds and make your heart whole again.  Get into a one to one, me to You, Daughter to Father conversation in the secret place. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

Perhaps you are wondering where to start because there are a lot of junks, toxic wastes stored up in your heart and you think it is too much for Almighty God to handle.  I have good news for you, His yoke is easy and His burdens are light (Matthew 11:28-30).  He has been waiting for so long to hear your voice.  If you sow in tears, you will reap in joy, if surrender in fear you will experience the abundance of His faithfulness.  Nothing is too difficult for God to handle, He is not the Author of confusion but the Author and Finisher of your faith.  Start today not tomorrow by entering into His presence, enter God’s rest and open up your heart to Him.  No more STOP SIGNS placed at the entrance to your heart.

Be encouraged to comment on the challenges you experience of keeping it real in the presence of God and be an inspiration to someone out there who needs encouragement or feels like they are all alone on this journey.

When we pray in communion with the Lord, our utmost desire is that our Heavenly Father hears our prayer. It is essential to understand how to gain access into His presence so that our prayers are not futile. The key to the secret place is the key that The Lord has placed in or given to us  to enable us gain direct access into His presence.

It is important to spend personal quality time with the Lord to develop our intimacy with Him and help us to grow in our relationship with our Heaven Father.    The secret place is a place where you are in communion with the Lord one to one, spirit to spirit and heart to heart.  The key to the secret place draws us into His presence (Psalm 91:1).

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly Matthew 6:6.   Intimacy with the Lord is developed in His presence where your joy is complete and you live life in abundance.

What hinders you from entering the secret place?

Keeping malice and grudges against people especially your brothers and sisters in Christ displeases the Lord.  The Word of God encourages us to love our brothers and sisters because we love God and God is love (1 John 4:8).   Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32.  Learn to let it go and lay it all down at the foot of the cross.  Your utmost desire is to enter into the presence of the Lord, therefore nothing shall separate you from the love of God

Bitterness is an emotional reaction caused as consequences of anger, pains, hurts, offense and so on.  When you allow your emotional feelings to take control,  the Holy Spirit departs from you and this blocks your access into the secret place.  You need to guard your heart with the shield of faith against every fiery darts of the enemy and put on the full armour of Christ our saviour.

When someone speaks wrongly of you or acts in a way that offends you.  Think about the cross and Jesus act of sacrifice that He has already paid it all.  Therefore you choose not to be offended by any words or action that would try to disconnect you from the presence of God.  It is a choice you have to make.   If anyone offends you do not hesitate to forgive them.  As you forgive our Father in heaven will forgive you through the power of the blood of Jesus (Matthew 6:12, Colossians 1:14, 2:13, Ephesians 1:7). Your prayers and entering into His presence could be hindered by unforgiving spirit, grudges that are led by the sinful nature or flesh.

An unforgiving spirit is of the flesh that leads to death for to be carnally minded is death. When you forgive others our Father in heaven forgives you  otherwise your prayers are hindered (Matthew 6:14).  When someone offends you, it is necessary to go back and make peace with the person so that your communion to the Lord would be like a sweet fragrance to the Lord.  The Lord Jesus encourages us to forgive as many times, not keeping records of the past sins but letting it go (Matthew 18:15-16, 21-22)

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God Galatians 5:19-21.

Next week I would expand even further on what opens, unlocks or activates a complete direct access to the secret place.

Once words have been spoken it can never be retrieved.  It is very important to carefully select the words that you speak in order to effect the Lord’s plans and desires in your life, the Church, community and your loved ones. ****Solidly rooted in your heart****

His words must be solidly rooted in your heart in readiness to be used effectively.  You need to be like a tree planted in the dessert land with its roots deeply rooted to its source of living.  During the storm when the wind blows you shall not be shaken because your source is the fountain of living waters.

Meditate on the word of God, let it be solidly rooted in your heart in readiness sprout out, to dissolve and  dismantle every pillars of strongholds that has hindered you from moving forward and operating effectively according to His perfect will in the fullness of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom.  And in all your getting, get understanding Proverbs 4:7.  The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut out Proverbs 10:31.

His words brings wisdom that helps to make the right godly decision.  Wisdom could be spoken through a man of God, trusted friend or through the word of God.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction Proverbs 1:7.  For the Lord gives wisdom; from His  mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; Proverbs 2:6-7

Have a divine revelatory knowledge of His identity in you.  Ask God to open your spiritual eyes that you will be able to see clearly the heights and depths of His love for you.  When He removes the veil from your mind you will move from glory to glory.

When you have an understanding of the Word of God then you can apply it rightly into your life and situations.  Lack of knowledge in any area of your life leads to slow painful death (Hosea 4:6)

His Word is spirit that pierces the heart, guides you in the direction to follow.  His  Word is the spirit of counsel, knowledge, and understanding that restores and mends the broken hearted (Isaiah 11:1-2, Proverbs 1:5, Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 19:21, Proverbs 20:5)

A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel Proverbs 1:5

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out Proverbs 20:5.

It causes a permanent transformation in your life as you spend time in His presence.  Just by filling your mind up with the word of God and confessing it regardless of the circumstance creates a new you in Christ Jesus.  His light in you transforms you to become a better person in the image and likeness of Christ.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God Romans 12:2

In anger, brokenness, discouragement, sadness, desperation, frustration and despair,  effective words brings restoration.  Find bible verses,  godly inspirational quotes that helps to brings complete wholeness, joy, peace and soundness of mind.

You might be feeling discouraged, downhearted, broken and distraught or even suicidal.  Maybe you think there is no God and have disconnected from Him, this has brought you to  a place of frustration, restlessness, hopelessness and depression.  You know what,  all hope is not lost so do not give up on God because Jesus heals the broken hearted and sets the captives free.  There is healing in the name and blood of the Lamb.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

So who is Jesus Christ? Do you really know Him? Because I thought I knew Him perfectly well but everyday I still get to know more about His awesomeness, the power in His name and anointing. Everyday is a new day of submission to my Lord and Savior Jesus learning who He truly is. Also how to walk and work with Him,  until you fully know and understand His true Identity and character of Jesus Christ and He gives you a divine revelatory knowledge of Him as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity, it absolutely impossible to comprehend and embrace that Jesus heals the broken hearted.

Son of God Jesus Christ came down in human form to suffer the pains and sufferings for our sake.  Heavenly Father sent His beloved Son because of the great love He has for us that those who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life ( John 3:16).

Redeemer: Jesus paid a costly price for our sake that He might redeem us through the power of the blood of the Lamb that was slain.  He was wounded for our transgression, chastised for our sins and by every stripes He took on the cross we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). On His crucifixion death, sicknesses and diseases, all our pains and sufferings was nailed to the cross and on the third day when He resurrected a   Divine Exchange took place to transform lives and restore back our with relationship God through His Son Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.  As redeemers sickness has no root in our bodies, broken lives are made whole, burdens are taken off our shoulders.
Healer: He is Jehovah Rapha, our Healer and restorer of our soul.  He mends the pieces and binds up our wounds because He is the potter and we are His clay.  If your have been broken, crushed and wounded why don’t you go to the Master Healer, Jesus as He heals your broken hearted
Lover of your soul: He takes us at the apple of His eyes (Zechariah 2:8).  We are precious, honored and loved in His sight (Isaiah 43:4).  He loves to know your thoughts, emotions and every action you take.  So He can direct our footsteps, renew our minds and give us a soft heart (Proverbs 16:9, Ezekiel 11:19, Romans 12:1-2).
He is God, the first and last: When you start with Him, endeavour to see the end of the matter with Him.  Because the end of the matter is better than the beginning.  Behind the scenes He is working it all out for your good because He is God (Hebrews 12:2, Revelation 1:17).
Provider: He is your provider, Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:8).  All your needs have been provided for by your Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus.  And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4;19. You need to develop the ability to trust Him in the midst of all the challenges, trials and tribulation you are experiencing (Proverbs 3:5-6).  Despite it all nothing shall separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:34-35).

There is so much to write about but I would like you to pause and think about Christ love for you, that surpasses all understanding.  Take time out to reflect on the things you are grateful to God for and appreciate Him for who He is.

1. Surrender: Complete surrender at the foot of the cross, nailing every pains, hurts, brokenness on the cross where Jesus was crucified.  Keep it real with Jesus, expressing your thoughts, feelings remaining in submission to Him.  When you surrender all to Him, you decrease that He may take full possession of your live with the full awareness that its not all about you but all about Him Jesus.  Surrender is an act of worship and reverencing God the author and finisher of your faith

2.  Let it go:  This is the difficult part because sometimes it is difficult to let go of those pains, brokenness caused by those that offended, betrayed, denied, disgraced you.  With Jesus by your side, He will make it easy because He knows what it feels like when He came in human form down to this earth .  Ask Him to teach you how to forgive your offenders, forgive yourself for the guilt and pains you have felt.  Do not carry the burden anymore, lay it the foot of the cross for His yoke is easy and His burdens are light.

3.  Receive healing: When you let go of it all then He starts to work through you in unity with the Holy Spirit that pours His love in you.  You give Him all your burdens, pains, hurts and receive His overflowing love, empowerment to walk in the fullness and righteousness of Christ

4.  Remain in Him: Once you have received your healing, do not go back to your old ways.   Remain in His love and your joy would be complete.  Remain in His word, maturing to be more Christlike.  Spend time in His presence seeking Him wholeheartedly. Your life becomes a living testimony for His name to be glorified in you.

Jesus heals the broken hearted and set the captives free.  It is a journey process that continues as He keeps molding, remolding until your are perfect in Him.  I pray that you would receive your complete healing in Him through Christ Jesus that was crucified on the cross, in the blood of the Lamb that was slain.  May He pour His spirit into your hearts and fill up every emptiness till it overflows in Jesus name. Amen
